She is bolder, fiercer, stronger.
Sokka is unsure when the sweet (okay, not always, but still), wide eyed little girl that he always watched out for (though more often that not, she watched over him) became this mistress of water, more a force of nature than the girl she is.
But he knows how.
The Avatar, Sokka thinks sometimes, shouldn’t need the protection of all of us.
The Avatar is supposed to be savior of the world.
But she protects him.
Shouldn’t the boy look after the girl, Sokka wonders sometimes, and hides a little smile each time he does.
